Ingredients
Are your products natural?
Mostly, yes. Our formulas lean heavily on plant oils and butters — jojoba, marula, shea, coconut and more. Where we use a gentle synthetic, like a preservative to keep a product safe or a mild cleanser so a wash lathers, we list it openly. We'd rather be honest than call something “100% natural” when it isn't.
Are your products cruelty-free and vegan?
Our products are cruelty-free and made without parabens. Most are plant-based; if you follow a strictly vegan lifestyle, please check the individual ingredient list.
Where can I find the full ingredient list?
Every product page lists its complete ingredients. Nothing hidden.
I have sensitive skin or allergies. Can I use them?
Our body products are made to be gentle, but every skin is different. If you're prone to reactions, patch-test on a small area first. Fragrances can contain natural allergens, so if you're pregnant, nursing or managing a skin condition, check with your doctor before use.
Where are your products made?
Proudly in South Africa.
Candle Care
How do I get the best out of my candle?
The first burn matters most. Let the wax melt all the way to the edges before you put it out - usually 2–3 hours. This sets an even pool and keeps the candle from tunnelling down the middle.
Do I need to trim the wick?
Yes. Before each burn, trim the wooden wick to about 5mm. It gives a cleaner, steadier flame and a little less smoke.
How long can I burn it at once?
As long as it makes you happy and your candle lasts. Let it cool fully before relighting.
Any safety notes?
Never leave a burning candle unattended.
Keep away from draughts, children and pets.
Always rest it on a heat-resistant surface.
Stop burning once about 10mm of wax remains.
Diffuser Care
How do I set up my diffuser?
Place the reeds into the oil and let them soak for a few minutes, then turn them over so the soaked ends face up. That first flip gets the fragrance going.
How often should I flip the reeds?
About once a week, or more often if you'd like a stronger scent. Flipping refreshes the throw.
How long will it last?
A diffuser lasts roughly 6 to 12 months, depending on room size and airflow.
Any care notes?
Keep out of direct sunlight and away from children and pets.
Don't light the reeds, and wash your hands after handling them.
Product Care
How should I store my products?
Somewhere cool and dry, out of direct sunlight. Heat and light fade fragrance over time.
How do I make my soap last longer?
Let it dry out between uses on a well-drained soap dish. Sitting in water is what makes a bar disappear quickly.
How do I use the room & linen spray?
A light mist into the air, or over bedding and fabric. Test on an unseen corner first, and go easy on delicate fabrics like silk.
How long do the products keep?
For the best scent and feel, use them within 12 months of opening.
